ALL Plants are shipped without soil.

Shipping plants without soil, a practice known as bare root shipping, offers several advantages:

  1. Reduced Weight and Volume: Soil adds weight and bulk to the package, increasing shipping costs. Shipping without soil reduces weight, making it more cost-effective and eco-friendly.
  2. Reduced Risk of Pests and Diseases: Soil can harbor pests, diseases, and weed seeds, which may pose a risk when shipping plants across borders or to areas with strict agricultural regulations. Bare root shipping minimizes this risk, as there is no soil to carry such contaminants.
  3. Less Mess: Soil can be messy and cumbersome to deal with during shipping, handling, and unpacking. Bare root plants are cleaner and easier to handle, reducing mess and simplifying the shipping process.
  4. Enhanced Plant Health: Bare root shipping allows plants to enter a dormant state, which can help preserve their health during transit. Without the need to support soil and roots, plants can focus their energy on survival rather than growth during shipping.
  5. Easier Inspection: Shipping plants without soil makes it easier to inspect the plants for issues. This streamlined process can reduce delays and expedite the shipping process.

We aim to ship most small plant and seed orders within 5 business days of order processing. Occasionally, Drop-shipped, larger orders or those during colder months may take longer to prepare. Should there be a delay exceeding 7 days, our team will promptly notify you post-purchase.

Rest assured, all tracked shipments are guaranteed to arrive safely with full tracking and delivery confirmation. For added convenience, packages are typically left at the delivery address or mailbox unless specified otherwise. If signature confirmation or delivery to a local post office is preferred, please indicate so at checkout.

In the rare event of shipping-related issues, the resolution often lies with the third-party carrier. Once a claim is submitted, their investigation may take up to one month, and the outcome will be determined by their investigations team.

During winter shipping, we take precautions to ensure the safe delivery of all live cacti and seeds. However, buyers must monitor tracking numbers closely and promptly collect deliveries to prevent exposure to freezing temperatures beyond our control. Shipments may be delayed until weather conditions stabilize to safeguard against any potential harm.

For order cancellations made while the status is “processing,” a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply, depending on the order type and size. Additionally, buyers have 7 days to return items for a full refund (minus postage) if unsatisfied, with the buyer responsible for return postage costs.

Color could fade and plant to form etiolation or slight size shrinkage due to time in travel in the dark ( this is usually not an issue inside of Canada but it can happen). Be aware of this before purchasing as these issues are not a reason for a refund or replacement, they are uncontrollable factors of overseas shipping.

Order Cancellation😐
Your purchase can typically be canceled within 12 hours after placing the order. After this period, it’s considered a “final sale,” with a few exceptions.
Example: Occasionally, orders are shipped much sooner than expected, making cancellation impossible once in transit.

Drop shipping

Items being drop-shipped from overseas to Canada. We understand the anticipation that comes with ordering new items, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the logistics involved in getting your products to you.

Processing time with the supplier is up to 5 business days( this is mostly time for uprooting and allowing the roots to fully dry before shipping ) Due to the distance involved and customs, please be aware that there is an estimated* travel time of 14-20 business days for items being shipped to Canada. due to uncontrollable elements such as( but not limited to ) backlog in customs or worldwide events, While we strive to expedite this process as much as possible, we want to ensure transparency about the expected delivery timeline and our inability to control this.

Additionally, we want to assure you that our shipping partners are committed to delivering your items in pristine condition. However, we understand that accidents can happen during transit. Rest assured that our shippers will replace any dead or damaged plants within reason, provided that adequate photos and or evidence is provided.

We understand that delays can occur, especially when it comes to customs clearance. While we make every effort to minimize these delays, we kindly ask for your understanding and patience during these times. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we are dedicated to ensuring a smooth and seamless shopping experience for you.

Exchanges/ Refund Ploicy


We want to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase, so here’s our policy on returns and refunds:

  • All sales of cacti and succulents are final. However, should you encounter any issues with your order, we encourage you to reach out to us promptly.
  • In the unfortunate event that your succulents arrive in poor condition or are damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will gladly provide you with a store credit equivalent to the purchase value or get your cactus reshipped promptly.
  • It’s important to note that slight variations in size, color, or appearance may occur during shipping, and minor imperfections such as sibling spine pokes or slight deflation/dehydration are typical. These are inherent to the nature of the plants and do not qualify for refunds.
  • To initiate a refund request, please ensure you provide us with the following details:
    • Customer name
    • Order number or shipping tracking number
    • Succulent name and price
    • Photos and videos showcasing any dead or damaged plants

Kindly note that our refund policy is contingent upon timely communication. We kindly ask that customers notify us within 24 hours of delivery to qualify for assistance.
